Certification Policy

Everything you need to know about how Meritshot issues, verifies, and scopes its program completion certificates.

5.1 Certificate Issuance

Program Completion Certificates are issued exclusively upon meeting all of the following conditions:

  • Minimum attendance requirement as defined in the Attendance Policy
  • Successful submission and approval of all mandatory assignments and projects
  • Successful submission and approval of the capstone project
  • Completion of all required tests and assessments with the minimum pass score
  • Full settlement of all outstanding program fees
  • Submission of all required KYC and identity documents
  • No pending disciplinary actions or unresolved misconduct complaints

Important: Issuance of a completion certificate does not imply placement guarantee, job assurance, or endorsement of employment suitability by Meritshot.


5.2 Certificate Verification

All certificates issued by Meritshot Zetta Edutech Private Limited are digitally verifiable. Each certificate contains:

  • A unique certificate ID
  • The student's full name as provided during enrollment
  • The program name and duration
  • The date of completion

Verification can be performed via the official Meritshot certificate verification portal. Any attempt to alter, fabricate, or misuse a certificate will be treated as fraud and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

Legal Reference: Forgery or fraudulent use of certificates may constitute a criminal offence under Sections 463, 464, 468, and 471 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.


5.3 Certificate Delay Policy

Certificates may be delayed if any of the following remain unresolved:

  • Outstanding fee payments or pending EMI obligations
  • Missing project submissions or pending assignment clearances
  • Incomplete KYC documentation
  • Unresolved disciplinary proceedings or academic integrity issues

Students will be notified via email of any prerequisites pending at the time of certificate processing.


5.4 Duplicate Certificate Requests

In the event of a lost or damaged certificate:

  • A formal request must be submitted to the academic team via email
  • Standard identity verification will be required
  • A duplicate certificate fee may be applicable
  • Processing time for duplicate certificates is 7–10 business days from the date of verification

5.5 Certificate Scope & Limitations

The certificate issued by Meritshot confirms program completion and skill training by Meritshot Zetta Edutech Private Limited. It does not constitute:

  • A degree, diploma, or qualification under the UGC Act, 1956 or AICTE regulations
  • A government-recognised credential under any statutory educational framework
  • A guarantee of employment, salary, or professional license

Employers or third parties requiring verification of a student's training may contact Meritshot directly through official channels.
